Every year, Q-Tech organizes a hike

As part of its 15th anniversary celebrations, Q-Tech organized the annual hiking day on 16 October 2021 to the Runding castle ruins, starting and finishing at the Mauerer restaurant in Pinzing. During the hike, Q-Tech employees were able to experience the beauty of the castle ruins together with their families and children - family fun guaranteed!

The hostess Martha Mauerer took the hiking party by bus to the Runding castle ruins. Franz Amberger - chairman of the Burgfreunde Runding e.V. - awaited the enthusiastic hikers there. Today, you can still see the impressive remains of what was once the largest castle complex in the Bavarian Forest - the accessible rampart alone is almost 400 m long. Franz Amberger guided the employees and their families through the entire ruins and provided them with lots of interesting stories and information about the history of Runding Castle.

Experience the joy of hiking together

The hikers then set off on foot across Lake Blauberger See back to the Mauerer inn. On the way, they also took a break, where they were well supplied with provisions by the innkeeper Josef Mauerer. After the delicious refreshment, the hike continued. There was a lot of laughter and conversation throughout the hike. When we arrived at our destination at the Mauerer inn in Pinzing, which was also the starting point, we had dinner together to celebrate the day. The Q-Tech hiking friends ended the day in a cozy, fun and relaxed atmosphere with drinks.
